Indian Air Force warns officers and their families against using Xiaomi phones

In India Xiaomi surely made a big impact and on launches of their devices on Flipkart, a record breaking sale was made of 20,000 units in just 2 seconds. Eventually it caused the Flipkart site to crash due to a large traffic.

The devices launched are a deal to buy as the specifications that Xiaomi phones are having are mouthwatering for the tech lovers. So now, everyone wants to get their hands on them.Indian Air Force Logo
These Xiaomi phones proved to be the best one in low budgets and were considered to be perfect, but it’s an old saying that nothings perfect.
So here comes the fault in these devices: Indian Air Force found out that the Xiaomi devices were sending user data and information to servers in China without user permission which is a really big issue for the user security and privacy.
The Indian Air Force even warned the officers and their families from using these devices as this could result in important information and intelligence loss. Security issues have been a great concern for the Xiaomi from a long time; even when it was not introduced in India.

So, now Xiaomi needs to give this issue a thought and should definitely do something as if they don’t do something, it can be a great loss to their market sales and reputation too.
The news has also been in the air that the Indian Air Force is going to ban Xiaomi in India due to these security issues, but Indians would hope that Xiaomi fixes these issues as soon as possible and not get banned as the features their devices are offering at great deals have never been in India before.
