The company that introduced the first Smartphone to the world is now looking forward to develop the world’s first self-destructing high security Android based smartphone. Blackberry is working with Boeing on this project, the Canadian mobile technology company’s chief said on Friday.

In past, Boeing has contributed in the development of The Boeing Black phone, that can self-destruct if it is tampered with; being developed by the Chicago based aerospace and defense contractor, which is best known for jetliners and fighter planes. But, The Boeing Black phone was not Android based.
The Boeing Black device encrypts all incoming and outgoing calls and is aimed at government agencies and others, those who need to keep their communications and data secure.

The BlackBerry CEO John Chen during a conference call said, “We're pleased to announce that Boeing is collaborating with BlackBerry to provide a secure mobile solution for Android devices utilizing our BES 12 platform.” He also added, “That, by the way, is all they allow me to say."

The BlackBerry Enterprise Service, or BES 12, will allow clients like Government Agencies and Corporations  to secure and manage not just BlackBerry devices on internal networks, but those that run on rival operating systems such as Google’s Android and Apple’s iOS.

To enable The Boeing phone to access multiple cell networks, it uses dual SIM cards and it can be configured to connect with biometric sensors and satellites. Boeing has started to offer the phone to some of the potential customers.

The Boeing Black phone, on its own was a very big asset but Google’s Android being added up with the name of BlackBerry and Boeing, the new device will surely attract a lots of customers.
